Marilyn Gilbert-Mitchell, founder of Indigo Collaborative Enterprises, LLC, was given a vision to provide services related to writing, speaking, and presentation projects over four years ago.  An avid reader and passionate writer, Ms. Gilbert-Mitchell has provided her services for a variety of customers, including personal associates, business owners, and community-based organizations. 

While utilizing many of the skills and experience acquired during over 18 years of employment in various capacities, Ms. Gilbert-Mitchell is expertly equipped to work with a variety of clients and topics.

• assistant director for Gwendolyn Brooks Center for Black Literature and Creative Writing
• human resources representative for a Fortune 500 company
• job posting and college recruiter assistant for a Fortune 500 company
• presenter for academic and artistic conferences on local, regional, and national platforms
• assistant planner for a national writers' conference
• guest speaker for various academic, community, and cultural events

Indigo Collaborative Enterprises, was officially created in 2006.  The overall goal of the company is to “fuse the power of language and creative expression that begins with your vision.”

  Additionally, the company’s tag line “when words mean more…” demonstrates a willingness to add printed, visual, and spoken voice to the ideas embedded in the hearts, minds, and visions of clients.
